Coconut Masala

- 3 stalks coriander leaves - 10 mint leaves - 3 cm (1 ½ inch) ginger, sliced - 8 red chillies, deseeded, and sliced - 10 shallots, peeled - 4 cloves garlic, peeled - 1 ¼ tsp salt - 50 g freshly grated coconut - 100 ml plain yogurt
Dried Spices:
- 7 green cardamom pods - 1 cinnamon stick (1 in), cracked or 1 tsp ground cinnamon - 5 cloves - 2 tbs coriander seeds - 2 tsp cumin seeds - 1 tsp ground turmeric
